The appearance is as described online. Cropped and puffy. I am a size small on top and I chose to size up to a medium which fit perfectly for wearing a cropped hoody underneath. I think sizing up is a little more comfortable in terms of coverage. I wore this out in on a long walk in 40-30 degree weather and freezing rain came down right at the end of my walk. I wore a cropped long sleeve shirt with a cropped hoody with the jacket. I felt incredibly warm. I could not feel the cold at all on my upper body. The jacket itself is very lightweight. Not heavy at all. When you first take it out of the package it is vacuum sealed so its a little wrinkly but I let it air out a little and it honestly was pretty wearable right away and did not feel it was wrinkly at all when I wore it out. I am really happy with this purchase for the size, quality, fit, warmth, look, and value. Super cute and trendy outfit with high waisted bottoms.
